The Retake Option for the CompTIA Linux+ (XK0-006) exam must be purchased at the same time as a CompTIA Linux+ exam voucher — it cannot be purchased on its own. It lets you retake the exam before your original voucher’s expiration date if you don’t pass on your first attempt, without paying full price for a second exam.

How to Claim a Retake

Order Process

After completing your purchase, you will receive:

• An email message confirming your order.
• A second email message containing your voucher code and its expiration date, sent during normal business hours (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. CT). If you purchase on a Saturday or Sunday, you’ll receive your voucher on our next business day.
• When you register for the exam at Pearson VUE, choose to pay by voucher and enter your voucher number. If you fail, use the same voucher to register for your retake.
