Jonathan Weissman, MA, Principal Lecturer in Cybersecurity at Rochester Institute of Technology and CompTIA Network+ authorJonathan S. Weissman, MA, is a Principal Lecturer in the Department of Cybersecurity at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). That is the highest teaching rank in the department. He is also a tenured full professor at Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC).
Over more than two decades of teaching, Jonathan has earned 12 institutional teaching honors. These include the RIT Outstanding Teaching Award and the SUNY Chancellor’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. He developed three courses for the edX RITx Cybersecurity MicroMasters program, reaching more than 300,000 learners worldwide.
