The voucher applies to a single exam, scheduled with a VUE testing center or OnVUE online proctoring, and must be redeemed before the expiration date (specified in the receipt).

CompTIA A+ Special Information

Getting CompTIA A+ certified requires you to pass TWO exams: 220-1101/1102 or 220-1202/1202. You cannot mix exam versions: you must pass both exams in the series or both exams to become certified. A CompTIA A+ voucher is good for ONE exam. This means you have to purchase a voucher for each exam. You can buy the two vouchers at the same time or at different times.

How to Use a Voucher

Here are the steps to use a voucher to pay for a CompTIA exam.

1. You will receive an e-mail message containing the voucher number. (The number is important!)
2. Register for an exam with Pearson VUE.
3. When asked to pay for the exam, select option to use voucher number rather than credit card.
