p. 1 Figure 1.1 should be a Windows 3.1 machine. The system pictured is a lovely Windows 95 machine, circa 1996.

p. 207 Microsoft removed the Windows Compatibility Center from their Web site at the end of 2015. The link listed in “Step 1” no longer works.
p. 444 In first paragraph, change CPU time to CPU usage.
p. 589 The second “if” in the dd command syntax should be “of.”
p. 1009 The definition of sublimation should read: “The term sublimation means to cause something to change from a solid form into a gas without entering a liquid phase in the process. The reverse process (gas to solid) is called deposition or desublimation.
p. 1172 End of definition of disk cloning should say (See image deployment.)
p. 1189 Entry for MPA should have the following definition:
MPA (Microsoft Product Activation) Anti-piracy measure introduced by Microsoft with the release of Windows XP. MPA prevents unauthorized use of Microsoft software by requiring the user to activate the software with special Microsoft activation servers.
p. 1200 Entry for registered RAM should say: See buffered/registered DRAM.
p. 1217 Entry for XT bus should be deleted. Ancient technology.
